Ukulele Training
It is with great joy that we teach Christian music with ukuleles that we provide for training and use for ministry. We have taught about 1800 people in the Philippines to spread the joy in the Lord through music and prayer. Hi. I am Jon Porter, missionary and ukulele instructor. My wife Jan and I spent 5 years in the Philippines conducting this ministry through several Christian denominations. Now, we have a new instructor, Pao Gumba who is Filipino and is an amazing ukulele instrumentalist. Pao is helping us minister through music training and workshops to bring the word of the Lord to the wonderful people of the Philippines. This ministry is designed to be an outreach for the Lord. We teach people to use music to bring the gospel to others. God bless you all in the mighty name of the Lord!
Jon and Jan Porter are preparing about 200 young people (and a few inspiring pastors) for an afternoon presentation at Jesus Reigns concert in San Augustin, Tablas Island, Romblon Province in the Philippines. Spreading the love of the Lord through music! Introducing Pao Gumba, the latest addition to our team. Pao is a well known amazing ukulele performer throughout Asia who is giving workshops for us in the Philippines using Christian music with prayer. In the next to videos, Pao is performing at a Seoul Korean music festival. Although, he is playing secular music for the festival, his joyous spirit shines through his presence and music.
